December 2010

Boston - December 8th, 2010

About 4 weeks ago I gave you a preview of what was to come for our 20th Anniversary. As we are just days away from the start of our Anniversary year I can already tell you that we are opening with a big bang as you will find out in this newsletter. First of all I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for yet another amazing year and as a way of thanking our many viewers and customers we've put more than 50 DVDs on sale for $5, $10 and $15 but hurry as this sale will slowly start winding down in the next couple of days simply because our warehouse is unable to handle the high volume of orders that are coming in on a daily basis...

Now on to our big announcement.... During my many questions and answers on our facebook page I gathered that other than the A380, which I'm sure we will get at some point in the coming years, the most requested was for us to go film Air Canada again on their Hong Kong or Sydney routes on the 200LR so I contacted this wonderful airline and about a year ago we started working on this project. For this program we've gone ahead and upgraded our filming equipment and inaugurated the new Just Planes Studios in Boston and I have no doubt you will see that in the editing alone!

As you all know we've been lucky enough to bring you excellent coverage of the Boeing 777 with the 200 and 300 versions as well as the ER (Extended Range). Routewise we've gone in pretty much all directions : (Click on logos for full program info)

Programs on the B777:
London Heathrow to North America
London Heathrow to the Middle East
Paris CDG to Africa

Milan & Rome to the Caribbean

The 777 version we were looking for is the LR (Long Range) and the route was North America to Australia over the Pacific and with Air Canada's Flight Operations we've put together one fantastic 4 and a half hour program with 2 very experienced crews!

Below is some more information about the program due out shortly. Have a safe and happy Holiday and see you soon!
