Hey from Boston... just made it in time for the September newsletter. It has been super busy here for me. Our crews have been doing a lot of filming the last few weeks and that requires my full attention to make sure things happen and happen in a way that will result in us being able to produce a quality program featuring as many of the things we want to bring you. During the last month we have filmed HD nbrs 12, 13 and 14 all the while I was busy planning and preparing future shoots for HD nbrs 15, 16, 17 and negotiating with several airlines for our 2012 filming season. All this means that my work on getting HD #10 ready has been delayed a bit. I'm hoping to have this latest program ready for release at the very end of October but could run into early November. More news and updates on our Facebook page during the coming weeks.
New Hi-Def Programs
The highlight of September has been the release of the EASTERN AIR LINES Douglas DC-7B! When we were in talks about producing this one it became a big gamble due to the higher than normal expenses. While these old birds sell well, they do not sell the numbers that would normally have allowed us to increase our budget by what was needed to get this accomplished however we decided to take a chance, its not every day you get to film a passenger DC-7 and in Eastern colors... I think this may in fact be the only DC-7 to carry passengers around the world. In the first 48 hours after releasing this title it became apparent that we made the right call.

As I said above, HD#10 should be here in 4-6 weeks and I'm still hoping to release HD#11 & 12 before the end of the year. All 3 are great programs once again filmed with 4-5 cameras and all with great crews so you're in for a really nice end of the year!
VHS to DVD Programs
The VHS to DVD program for September featured MALEV.
Malev was picked partly because it was requested by a number of our viewers on our Facebook page and partly because I thought it featured some really interesting routes starting with the Boeing 767-300 on the New York JFK route. You're in for a really nice approach and views into New York as well as a really cool taxi out on departure as you watch several other aircraft departung runway 13R. Malev no longer flies to the States and doesn't operate any 767s either. For that matter all types on the DVD, the Boeing 737-300, 737-400 and Fokker 70 have all left the airline's fleet making this another collectable program! Another interesting route takes the Fokker 70 to Tripoli, Libya. With the current situation there there isn't much flying going on. Sarajevo, Bosnia as well as Skopje, Macedonia are another 2 destinations that don't appear much in the series. While the Malev program was released 10 years ago as 2 Videos each selling for $25, the DVD which features all the footage from both videos, total 4 hours, only costs $25.
Sold Out Programs
The sold out program to make a return in September was AER ARANN.
This program was picked mostly because it was high on the request list in talking to our viewers on our Facebook page. The program also includes some nice destinations in Ireland and the UK and features some really awesome air to air footage of the ATR72.
Another sold out program is headed your way tomorrow so stay tuned for more.
