I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Norway that was showcased in this DVD. The landing at Bodo Airport was cool as two F16 fighter jets were filmed taking off from the airport at the same time of the landing of the Wideroe Dash 8. The F16's came close enough to set off the traffic alarm inside the Wideroe Dash 8.  It was cool seeing some of the Bodo Main Air Station buildings at Bodo Airport. Matthew Salava, USA

This DVD has some spectacular scenery around the fjords and islands of northern Norway and great information on the Dash 8 which is used by Wideroe to operate these routes. I thought it was some of the most amazing scenery I've ever seen and I envy those Wideroe crews who get to see it day in and day out, but perhaps don't envy the inclement winter weather they sometimes have to fly in. All in all, a fantastic DVD and one I would definitely recommend!

Another geat DVD for my collection. Thanks Worldairroutes ! Great winter scenes from Norway and Lofoten's Islands (Bodo - Leknes) and always filmed with daylight (that is very hard to realize - remember that days are very short at this latitude in this season). A very good demo and explanations of the Dash-8 made by the crew (cockpit, external visit and also cabin - thanks to the hottests!), with some specifics problems relative to this aircraft and its exploitation (ie the ice parts hiting the fuselage when de-icing the blades propeller). My only -small- regret is that, Alta is not included in the destinations, but with 12 airports this dvd is well representative of the domestic flights operated by Wilderoe. The Dash-8 is very adequate for such routes but also for us... because it fly low and slow on approach, so it's easy to recognize the towns, islands, mountains and airports (despite of clouds, fog and snow). A very good balance between technicals chapters and scenery display. Thierry Davroux, FRANCE
This is really a dvd to treasure, as the only other program which offers such great winter scenes. Norway couldn't be more beautiful as she is from the air. The small destinations above the Arctic Circle with the small landing airstrips require some great skills by the pilots who manage to overcome the weather conditions and land the Dash 8 safely on ground. I hope that justplanes will produce some more dvd's like this one, because these dvd's show us what flying is all about.

A great World Air Routes presentation of Wideroe and the Dash 8! This program has spectacular scenery of Northern Norway and many of the very small destinations, all of which are above the Arctic Circle. Some great demonstrations of skill by the pilots flying in very unfriendly weather conditions into some very short runways and rugged terrain. Also, the flights in the cabin and walkaround of the Dash 8 make this a really enjoyable program! Please keep up the great work on World Air Routes! Greg Rowland, USA

You did a great job on my most favorite regional airliner! The cockpit views were nothing short of spectacular and crews interaction was great. A very well done job. Keep up the good work. Michael Bowman, USA
