Our 20th Anniversary year has just been amazing, between the new programs we released and the old ones we brought back or brought to DVD for the 1st time it was a tough but fantastic experience to be releasing something just about every single Friday for a year! Now comes the "frosting on the cake" when just a couple of weeks ago we released our 1st ever Blu-ray! We looked at this format as long as 2 years ago but had to wait for the right moment and more importantly had to wait until we would be able to bring it to you at the same price as DVDs and that time was now! The initial plan was to test the Blu-ray with 2 programs, the one we just released and another one coming late January however the initial results have been so phenomenal that we are now making plans to release more, or as many as possible I should say, programs on Blu-ray.

Besides thanking our team all around the world for their fabulous work, they really work their butts off every day to bring you the best possible Aviation coverage... I'd like to thank you, our customers, our fans, for your incredible support in 2012! Off course to us that is visible through our sales all over the world but also online where we started the year with around 2,000 fans on Facebook and we're close to reaching 20,000 now! Thats an addition of 50 fans every single day this year!! Our You Tube Channel has also performed very well with the addition of 20 subscribers every single day this year!

New Programs

A little over a year ago we released the 777-200LR to Australia and seeing the fantastic results and demand for this program and your requests for the Hong Kong Polar route I went to Air Canada and asked to cover this route and also asked it be flown by the Senior Director of Operations himself! Its been a long wait to get him on the flight and we had already tried twice but the 3rd time was the charm I guess and off we went. We also carefully picked the timeframe in order to have daylight over the Pole, in the end luck was with us. The route is over covered in clouds but not on the day we filmed! The program has now been out for nearly 3 weeks, has done fantastically well, is the current top seller and managed to make it to #11 in the 2011 Top 20 selling programs which is amazing considering it was out for just 10 days at the time the Top 20 was put together. The program has also received more comments than usual, check those out on our website, and has been viewed more times on You Tube than other programs, currently over 25,000 views in 20 days! You really seem to appreciate the quality of the High Definition on the Blu-ray release. For the 1st time you can actually enjoy that High Definition since none of the DVDs out there allow for it but rather are still using Standard Definition so don't miss this one of a kind 4 and a half hour program from Air Canada's hub at Toronto Pearson International Airport to Hong Kong over the North Pole to Hong Kong and back over the Pacific with Captain Rick Allen and his great crew who inform you of pretty much everything they can think of during the flights. Start with an introduction into how a flight dispatcher plans a flight over the Pole, how the crew plans this flight, a walkaround the aircraft and then everything that goes on in the cockpit on what is now the longest nonstop flight in our cockpit series!

and while this was only planned for our 20th Anniversary year, its been such a success that we've decided to continue and we will be bringing back more of these rare and old programs!

Sold Out Programs

Same with the sold out DVDs! We brought back just about 2 every month this year... to be exact 23 or 1 short of the 2 a month. Many of you have told us how much you've appreciated being able to complete your collection with missing titles and we will continue to bring back some more sold out programs be it at a slower pace this year.
