ZIP was a wholly owned subsidiary of Air Canada, headquartered in Calgary, launched service on Sept 8, 2002. ZIP, with its fleet of Boeing 737s, offered low fares, friendly and professional service to destinations across Canada. The aircraft were painted in 4 vibrant colors : blue, fuchsia, green and orange.

This program covers 6 very interesting destinations in Canada and includes a lot of spectacular scenery on the way. Pilots take time to explain the working of their aircraft in details including the cockpit and a walkaround of the aircraft and you will witness the most amazing footage of a Boeing 737 flying over the Vancouver area as you sit in a small plane that follows the 737 over land and water! The air to air part of the dvd lasts 23 minutes.

I bought this program because I am Canadian and thought that the variety of destinations was great as well as the fact that I am huge 737-200 fan and love watching the "Football" in all of her glory. Our pilots were very friendly and gave us wonderful descriptions of the cockpit plus it was unique to see them use a laptop to compute the functions of operating the aircraft that were needed. The air to air was a nice treat in this program with some fascinating scenery of Vancouver and the BC area. The cabin views were great and I love how those clamshell doors open up while the aircraft is reversing thrust moments after touchdown. I must say ZIPs liveries are very unique as well. I always said that if I became an airline pilot one day, I would feel blessed to get a chance to operate the 737-200, one of my favourite aircraft out there and one so well displayed on this DVD. Great job.

One never knows when these incredible DVD'S are going to sell out and with 13 of them in my collection, believe me ZIP is one you don't want to let get away. With a number of excellent informative features, great flightdeck views and beautiful scenery, what stands out most is the interaction and level of enthusiasm these pilots treat the viewers with, especially CPT John Harvey and FO Ken Norris, their inviting hospitality will truly make you feel that your part of their crew sitting in jump seat. Thankyou to the World Air Routes team for demonstrating your professionalism in producing these wonderful videos for all aviation enthusiasts, and again Just Planes fans ZIP 737-200 is a must for your DVD collection.   Brent Ktytor,CANADA

Thank you for this exellent DVD! The filming by Udo Schaefer is perfect and the friendly pilots do a great job. It´s nice to see these old birds flying. I can highly recommend this one!   A. Steinbrunn, GERMANY

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Zip DVD. The air-to-air part is worth the asking price alone - absolutely amazing! I think it is the first DVD in a while where the pilots are not shy in front of the camera and really friendly. They do an excellent job of explaining everything they do and I learnt a lot from it. It was good to see a landing from inside the cabin also. Boeing 737-200's are getting rarer all the time and it's good to see you're not just making programs on modern, common airliner types. This is my 9th DVD and I am looking forward to buying many more in the near future. Keep up the good work!    Hywel Phillips, UK

The dvd was just awesome! Downright awesome! The air to air part was the best. It was breath-taking.For all you fans, if you don't have this movie yet you have to get it.

In my opinion, this is perhaps one of the best DVDs that "Justplanes - World Air Routes" has ever produced. Therefore, I look forward to watching it again and again.

Let me the first to say that Air Canada Zip is probably one of the best dvd's from World Air Routes. This is my 7th CD and the second best that I have next to Air Europe. The best part of the Zip DVD is the air to air shots, VERY well done. The air to air shot was probably the best done by World Air Route. All the take offs and landings on all the airports in this DVD was well done too. I couldn't ask for anything better! :) This DVD is a must of anyone who loves aviation and it's for sure worth the money to buy. :)
