European Air Charter inaugurated flight operations in 1989 with a large fleet of Bac1-11s. These aircraft were replaced with a fleet of Boeing 737s and European is adding the Boeing 747 for long haul services.
This program takes you on the last scheduled commercial revenue flight of the airline's Bac1-11 at the end of March 2002 as the aircraft was retired due to the new noise regulations.

This is an opportunity to discover the "One Eleven" inside and out, learn about the cockpit, its instruments as you fly from Bournemouth to Turin and back ; this is a historical dvd for your collection! You also fly the Boeing 737-200 on a variety of European routes from two of European Air Charter's bases : Bournemouth International and London Stansted.

Hello, just wanted to say, how much I really enjoyed both The European and Nationwide Airlines DVDs featuring the BAC 1-11. I flew on the BAC 1-11s for many years whislt in service with Quebecair, British Airways and British Caledonian. It has brought back many found memories. You produced great work.

As always World Air Routes has given us another GREAT DVD. I've never flown on a BAC1-11, so it was nice to see one of these old jets and how they operate. The Captain's exterior walk-around and cockpit presentations are excellent. The veiwer will also get to see a lot of flights on the B737-200. Keep up the great work!!!!!!!

My compliments for the European DVD!!! Excellent video and very complete description of BAC 111 Cockpit. Good job!!!!!

I really enjoyed the European DVD, It was excellent. The B737 walk around, BAE1-11 cockpit instruments and B737 cockpit instruments were all particularly good. The DVD was very interesting and I highly recommend it. There are some brilliant views of Majorca and the Alps. The radio communications were very clear and the pilots on the DVD were very good at talking about their routes and procedures. This DVD was especially interesting to me as I visit Bournemouth Int around once a week and often see the European and Palmair planes parked in the stands. Great job! Keep up the great work.

I really enjoyed seeing my first DVD from your Co. Very well done. Can't wait to receive my next 2 DVDs' United B777 and Continetals' ATR-42.

The Pre-flight walk-around and the explanation of the instrumentation in the flight deck was one of the best that I have seen in your World Routes Series. And, although many of the BAC1-11s systems were analog, it was still a treat to have each one explaned with hands-on swtiching of the switches and turning the knobs. These are things that any pilot loves. I was interested in the yoke microphone switch, which seemed a bit odd. The flight scenes brought back memories of two flights that I made on Air Pacific's BAC 1-11s in 1975 and 1982. GOOD JOB!

Patrick D. Morrissey, USA

I want to congradulate you on European BAC 1-11. I have flown the legendary 'BAC jet' with Allegheny Airlines and Pacific Express and brings back a lot of memories. I liked the presentation of the aircraft and I especially liked the flight. This was a good one, keep it up.

I think the European Aircharter DVD is excellent. It is a great tribute to a wonderful classic british jet-the BAC1-11. Ive seen the famous B737-229Advanced G-CEAE at Manchester Airport. Its a must see DVD. Keep up the great work!

Mark Walkington, UK

Bac1-11 DVD is superb, brings back many memories of being at LGW airport as a kid, and watching British Caledonian, Dan Air, Courtline, and Laker Airways 1-11's come and go.

Nick Carter, UK

Your new European dvd is especially well done. The pilot presentations of both the Bac 1-11 and Boeing 737 are outstanding with very detailed walkarounds and instrument description. What a joy it is to see a program on the now rare Bac 1-11 including a look in the cabin. Very nice close-ups scenery of the Alps. I also enjoyed the great views of Palma and the very difficult crosswind landing at Bournemouth. I love World Air Routes. Keep them coming, you're the best!
