Daallo becomes the 184th airline to join the World Air Routes series. This is the first time we're flying the

Ilyushin 18 and first time we feature the Antonov 24 on dvd. After a company presentation you depart Djibouti International Airport for Dubai on the B737-200. That is followed by 4 flights on the IL-18 as well as 2 flights on the AN-24 to 3 destinations in Somalia, the first time our series lands in this country.

The program is a very unique opportunity to discover the cockpit operation of these 2 Russian aircraft, you will also have a look at the cabin and service on all 3 types.

The dvd has a lot of very interesting scenery from an area of the world that does not have abundant airline service and as a result, the airports you will visit make this a rare opportunity to include Djibouti as well as 3 airports in Somalia in your World Air Routes collection.

I got this DVD just when it came out in February. It is excellent! I enjoyed the Airline's company presentation. Besides the presentation the two Soviet aircraft that were featured including the Ilyushin 18 and the Antonov 24 were very interesting because they're hardly seen all over the world except others being preserved in museums all over the world. And last but not least about this DVD is that there is a war going on in Somalia. So this DVD makes it interesting to fly on one of the few airlines into Somalia. Also the scenery of Djibouti, and the three destinations in Somalia were in a desert made the scenery absoluetly unusual. If you want to see some airports in Somalia then this would be the right DVD for you!

Thank you for producing the Daallo DVD with the very interesting footage on Il-18 and An-24. It has already its special place among my 50 or so WAR titles. I also liked to see details about flying in this very part of the world which is very different from where I live. I think the Il-18 was a very modern design for its time and the An-24 is indestructible in service. Having flown in this planes in the past I enjoyed seeing them in action.
